News Letter
Statistics 43 cubs + 1 visiting Beaver 6 leaders 9 core helpers
October and what a lot we squeezed in. National Army Museum, Athletes Badge, Chelsea Hospital, Zombie wars, Emergency response Badge, Elephants, Bank of England, three investments and much more. A very good month for our pack, many thanks for all who helped out. November is not as expensive but just as hectic. Fireworks, Matilda, Remembrance Sunday, Swimming and Parish Bazaar. Well done to our cubs who attended District quiz and great work from Cameron and Lucia for getting a place on the District team.
Fireworks Tuesday 12th November 6.45 Gilwell park
A note has already gone out. We meet on 5th November at District fireworks night Gilwell Park, Your Pack/Scout Group pay for your child's attendance at this event and three cubs have already advised me they can't attend. This saves us £15 please make a point of letting us know if you are not attending.
Matilda Tuesday 12th November
Full uniform no need for coats or long trousers cubs will be on the coach or in theatre. They will need sweets and a drink or the means to buy some (west end theatre prices) the coach departs from New road (outside Frankie and bennies) at 5pm it will not wait. Return time will be advised at departure. Home contact pack "in touch" policy will be activated 07904953819.
Normal Pack evening for the 20 cubs not attending Matilda.
Remembrance Parade Sunday 10th November 10:45 outside Chingford Fire Station
All Cubs should meet in smart uniform the parade and service lasts about 45minutes.
Parish Bazaar Appeal and Subs
We need goods for our bazaar by the 12th November please, I am aware that we are meeting all over the place the next few weeks but Bazaar donations and due November Subscriptions can be handed in at all locations we meet.
Packs new photograph web site
Our Cybertech cohort have completed the Packs web page and this has now been launched. Access is restricted and to gain entry you need to follow the following Link:
https://sites.google.com/site/chingfordpack/home To access the photos they will need to send an email to; 32ndchingford@gmail.com Advise us, their name, name of their child or the reason they wish to be added. The photos are stored on Google Picasa so they need to provide us with a Gmail address. If they don't have a Gmail address they can create one at https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?service=mail Many thanks to Techmage Dan Magill and his dark arts expertise, the site may still have a few demons running loose, if you spot any please let us know and Dan will exorcise them. My understanding is that the web site is so huge if you were to lay it flat on the ground it would take up more space than north America.
